Sourcing with our hearts – while going green
Everyone purchases products and services, and many businesses also have a sustainability strategy. But how to merge sourcing and sustainability so that sourcing is driven not only by price, volume and quality but also by social responsibility, biodiversity, climate action and other green pledges?
This talk focuses both on green public procurements, as exemplified by the City of Aarhus represented by Head of Public Procurement, Anette Juhl Winther and DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) represented by Petrine Jonsson Egholm, chief consultant, along with inputs from Ecolabelling Denmark represented by senior advisor on public procurements Rikke Dreyer on how private-sector businesses can flex more sustainability muscle in their purchasing. Steffen Max Høgh will be moderating the debate.
